McDonald's

To launch the new McDonald's 24 hour offering, we created nightlights that looked like fries when plugged in to reassure people that whatever time of the night it was, a McDonald's was open close by.
Print, banners, and an app also helped get the message across.

The idea was featured on The Inspiration Room, Coloribus, Ads of the World, Adeevee, Advertolog, Design You trust, and more.

Nightlight
McDonalds

When select McDonald’s restaurants in Vancouver started staying open all night, we needed a way to reach the city’s hungry night owls. So we turned the brand’s iconic fry box into glowing nightlights, a warm signal that McDonald’s was now open after dark.

The idea was featured by The Inspiration Room, Coloribus, Ads of the World, Adeevee, Advertolog,
Design You Trust and more.

We translated the nightlight idea into OOH, using backlit placements to elevate the execution
when and where it matters most.

We adapted the concept into digital banners that appeared to switch the viewer’s screen off,
before the nightlight turned on.
